In the new trailer for the highly anticipated drama The Impossible Heir is out now. The show unveils an intense competition for power within Korea's largest conglomerate. Lee Jae-wook plays the cold-hearted yet honourable Han Tae-oh, Lee Jun-young portrays the complex character Kang In-ha, and Hong Su-zu takes on the role of Na Hye-won.

The trailer begins with a glimpse of our three protagonists against the backdrop of the phrase "Want to escape." We witness a tense exchange between Han Tae-oh and his father, who ominously threatens him from prison, accusing Tae-oh of his actions and vowing revenge. Concerned, Tae-oh urgently seeks help to evade the impending danger.

The focus then shifts to Kang In-ha, the illegitimate son of a powerful family, yearning for recognition from his father. We also meet Na Hye-won, burdened by her mother's gambling debts. Despite their hardships, the trio is determined to climb the ladder of success.

Tae-oh boldly claims to possess something stronger than power itself, "Desperation." This sets the stage for the intense power struggle ahead as they pursue their ambitions. Tae-oh pledges support to In-ha, promising to ensure his success. Thus begins a tumultuous journey intertwined with ambition and adversity as they strive for power.

Lee Jae-wook embodies Han Tae-oh, a figure defined by his sharp intellect and cool-headed logic. Despite being the son of a criminal, Han Tae-oh seeks redemption by partnering with Kang In-ha, the unrecognised heir of Korea's esteemed Kang Oh Group. Together, they plot to dismantle the conglomerate's leadership. Han Tae-oh, with his strategic acumen and calculated demeanour, takes charge, hiding his emotions behind a stoic facade.

Meanwhile, Lee Jun-young portrays Kang In-ha, a character masking deep desires beneath a carefree facade. As the overlooked illegitimate son of the Kang Oh Group, Kang In-ha teams up with Han Tae-oh, fueled by a longing for acknowledgement. Initially operating discreetly, Kang In Ha becomes entangled in his relentless pursuit to rise within the Kang Oh Group's ranks.

The Impossible Heir premieres on February 28, 2024.
